When things aren’t going swimmingly
And skies don’t look so blue
Remember that the Lord’s still working
And that He isn’t through
Down in our hearts rock hard with sin
His grace is pouring through
To soften us till soft like clay
His hands can make us new
And put in place of brag and boast
A meek and gentle word
And instead of angry shouts
HIs praises will be heard
No, He’s not done and there’s a pile
Of things He’s changing still
But don't give up - hold on to Him
He is leading up the hill
To where we'll hear our Savior say
If we will just believe
And let go of all our past
It is finished! - Come with me!
When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

I have found that the God who sends gentle rain also strikes with lightening to get our attention when needed. That’s no 10 or even 20 volt drill in His arsenal!
Thank you, Carly. It’s something God is dealing with me about and I try to communicate it as simply as possible without being trite. Have a blessed weekend.
Praise God for His love and grace! We are a work in progress. May He deepen our faith.
Amen so grateful for grace!

Gonna take a while, too, if He only uses a 10V DeWalt drill! 😂 I bought the 20V with Lithium ion batteries.

I was just going by the pic at the front of your blog. 😉😁
This side of heaven, we are a work in progress—being confirmed to the image of Christ. Amen, Pastor Pete.
