Praying for our Brothers

This week we received this prayer request from our fellow brother, Pastor Simon Peter Kaleem in Lahore Pakistan:

URGENT PRAYER REQUEST.
Christian colony in Peshawar Pakistan is under attack of a group of terrorists. There is a cross firing going on between police and terrorists. Please remember our brother’s and sisters in your prayers

As many prayed, God granted mercy with this attack being caught in its early stages. But this is the daily reality of our brothers and sisters in Pakistan. The Bible tells us to pray as if it were us when we ask for help.

Hebrews 13:3  Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.

How would it be if our phone rang this morning and we received a message that our church was under attack, that someone had set off a bomb in the Sunday school building, that some of our families had been killed at a park? How would we react? How would we pray?

These are not hypothetical circumstances for the Pakistani church. These are the exact things that have happened over just the last few years, and yet Mercy angels Pakistanthey continue going to church, working to help the needy and sharing the love of Christ. The Bible tells us we are one body, one family and one church. These are their children, will you pray with them today?

Praying for Pakistan

Last year a bomb was attached to one wall of the building and it fell one of the children in the Sunday school breaking his leg. Later the rest of the walls fell and the church needed to be rebuilt. Here is a part of the story from the ministry Mercy Angels Pakistan. Please pray…

Praying for the Church building construction. We have completed its foundation with the material that we had of the old building. Now we are praying for the provision of God for the resources. We all standing on the faith and trusting in the LORD for a great miracle for the construction of this church. Our Sunday school children are praying and fasting for this church building. I invite my friends, brothers and sisters to pray with us and this is an opportunity for you as well to share the blessing that God has given to you. We believe in the promises of God and we believe the rewards that God will give to them who share their blessings. Please don’t forget us and keep praying….Hallelujah….

Feeding birds and children

ImageLook at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?                  Matthew 6:26

The Bible tells us that it is God who will feed the birds.our job is to feed children. Today, In the United Stated, according to Wikipedia, we spend       3 billion dollars a year feeding wild birds.

As the prayer of Saint Francis admonishes us, ” God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can.”

We may only have resources to feed one child, but that one child’s life may be changed forever! Visit Supplying Seeds Ministry on Facebook to learn more.
