God’s Garden Calendar In January’s cold and snow We sketched our garden dreams Then in February and in March bought seeds Of tomato, corn, and beans Our April was for planting And May and June for weeds Then in July fresh broccoli came August squash met all our needs Bell peppers still were filling bags Until September’s frosty ground Yet pumpkins kept on ripening When October came around So, we bowed our heads in thankfulness With November nearly done Remembering in December God Came to plant in hearts His Son God’s Garden Calendar by Peter Caligiuri © 2020 All rights reserved
I was so moved by this video that Joni and Friends ministry shared in their Thanksgiving newsletter that I wanted to share with my readers. This special video was created by the Reflectors ministry of Faith church in Dyer Indiana. It vividly shows us that Jesus truly is not only a good shepherd but that he also carried us on His cross to the banqueting table of the Lord. We must remember how precious our seating is and how special each family member around us and we give thanks!
And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. Luke 2:8
This week we take a look at some overlooked guys who I call the third shift shepherds. Have you ever felt forgotten at Christmas? The good news is that God remembers.
