The Bible tells us a little about God’s eternal perspective in various passages. I especially like Peter’s insight that one day with the Lord is like a thousand years. God spends as much time as He needs to accomplish His will yet He never wastes a single moment. When I came out of the church the other night, I was stunned by the shimmering beauty of the moon. There in that one silent moment God was talking to all the world. It is amazing how much God can say without speaking  and how little we speak with thousands of words!
