Sometimes our lives are tossed here and there by forces and circumstances entirely beyond our control. Like the disciples on Galilee’s waters we are rowing as hard as we can, but we feel alone on the waters. Then He comes at a time and in a way for which we are unprepared. He is coming to us walking over the waves of our life. He is calling out, “It’s me… don’t be afraid!”. What a joy to lay down our oars and rest! As soon as Jesus is in our boat again we will be exactly where He wants us to be…
