The Greatest Question of Easter

The greatest question of Easter is not , whether Christ raised from the dead, but whether we have been raised together with Him!

Colossians 3:1 If you are then “risen” with Christ, reach out for the highest gifts of Heaven, where your master reigns in power. Give your heart to the heavenly things, not to the passing things of earth.

He comes into our hidden room though our doors are locked

John 20:26…Peace be with you,” he said. 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!”

Jesus comes looking for you and for me and our choice is whether we will join him in His resurrection life, or turn away in the face of the overwhelming evidence that He is alive and is offering us His life forever!

Easter Song by Keith Green

Easter is the foundation of our hope in Christ; and my own personal spiritual birthday. I love this song originally written by Annie Herring and recorded first by the 1st Chapter of Acts. However; most of us who do remember, recall this as one of Keith’s best releases. I pray you will be blessed and that Easter will be a time in which God births new life in you this year!

Being Prepared For Battle

1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.

Nepal and India 276 In every street of every city all over the world there is a great battle brewing. It is not the battle between nations and cultures as much as it is a war between unseen forces. We encounter the building pressures of this war that will break out globally. Some people build shelters and stock them with food. Some are buying gold and hiding it for the coming chaos. Some people simply surrender to despair and sit hoping that the storms that are gathering will somehow pass them by. But God’s Word gives us a completely different perspective.  Peter tells us that since we know that the end of all things is coming we need to be alert and sober to we can pray. When Jesus was preparing for the cross He went to the garden with his disciples to pray. He told the disciples to “Pray that you will not fall into temptation…”  then, ” He withdrew about a stone’s beyond them and knelt down and prayed…” Luke 22:40                                                                                                                                                                    There is no greater preparation that we can have for the coming battle than prayer.  No matter how much gold we pile up there will never be anything more precious than the souls of men and women who live around us to the heart of Father God. Because one day the Bible tells us that Heaven and earth will pass away, but the ones who have found Christ as Savior will outlive the universe. There will never come a time when guns or modern blast proof shelters can provide greater security than the presence of God and His angels that He sends to camp around us when danger lurks.

So be aware that difficult times are coming. But in place of a fear that tempts us to run and hide, let’s go to our knees in prayer until God sends His Word, that will never pass away and His presence that will never leave us and His Angels that carry messages of Hope and Strength from the throne of God!                                                                  Real Rejoicing
