Lord this world seems so big And I’m here so small And to this song that you gave me No one’s listening at all But when I looked out the door To a tree down my street I saw one red cardinal At the top take his seat And with all of his might He sang out God’s tune Then flew off in a hurry He still had so much to do! I love this! I don’t know how many mornings I have been encouraged by the cardinals’ tenacious song. May I be so faithful!
These photos I took last night and the song was so striking that it stuck with me. It has been a struggle for me lately and I am grateful for both the symphony God sent and the words he gave me. Have a blessed day!
I understand the struggle, and I, too, am thankful for God’s messages in His creation. God bless!
