On my sunrise walk by the edge of a pond near our home I had the unexpected blessing of getting close enough for some photos of this Roseate Spoonbill. It’s amazing the special surprises that God has in store. Whole I was walking off the tension of yet another day of Corona craziness God was busy sending a beautiful bird to change the subject and bring unexpected joy. What a neat way to start my day! Thank you Lord!
What no eye has seen nor ear heard nor the heart of man imagined God has prepared for those who love Him. 2 Corinthians 2:9

Wow! Amazing!
God’s creation often changes the subject for me as well.
Blessings!
How beautiful! And how wonderful for you to see that beautiful bird as God’s morning gift to you! God bless!
Unusual encounters in nature seem like a special gifts from God. They do indeed change the subject and bring unexpected joy. (Love the way you expressed that thought, Pastor Pete!) Several years ago while reading on our deck, a butterfly landed on my knee. For a minute perhaps I studied him up close, noting the tiny black and yellow stripes on his antennae–a lovely detail God created eons ago, and I was discovering for the first time. His stunning workmanship not only boggles the mind, but the sheer volume of wonder in our world is incredible!
Nothing better than when God changes the subject of our preoccupation! Beautiful!

Thanks!
