God is at work in every circumstance of our lives, and uses both the evil and the good for His ultimate plan to bless and make us more and more like Jesus.

A Sunrise Surprise
On my sunrise walk by the edge of a pond near our home I had the unexpected blessing of getting close enough for some photos of this Roseate Spoonbill. It’s amazing the special surprises that God has in store. Whole I was walking off the tension of yet another day of Corona craziness God was busy sending a beautiful bird to change the subject and bring unexpected joy. What a neat way to start my day! Thank you Lord!

Fish and Loaves
Then Jesus said, “Let’s go off by ourselves to a quiet place and rest awhile.”… Mark 6:31a
They all ate as much as they wanted. Mark 6:42
In the space between these verses is the amazing story of how Jesus fed 5,000 men at a place where the apostles were just hoping to get some rest. Sometimes all of us just need to get away. But Jesus comes up with astonishing ways to give us what we need in a way we least imagine.
