I have been facing some struggles with my health lately and have found God has helped me to grow in holding onto His peace (at least most if the time). But real joy as I understand it has seemed far away and I prayed this morning for God’s help. So finding this post today I not only was encouraged but I hope this will be a blessing to others going through a valley.

The debate over the reopening of schools has been intensifying here in Florida as I am sure it is around the country. Tempers have become heated, words exchanged and the battle has sadly been generating more heat than light. So for parents wondering about school in the middle of this corona crisis maybe take a breath and consider that Home School may be a great option. Home schooling is not something new and it definitely play out differently in the city

I hope that their presentation gives you some encouragement and practical ideas that will help you not only keep you children safe but also invest in ensuring that they are getting a good education. With this Covid-19 crisis now dragging on into mid-July the issues for those in Long Term care have changed from being a temporary adjustment to a near permanent situation. Visits through the window, masks and tearful good-byes are what is now accepted as the new normal. These emotional, physical and spiritual challenges on those who are caregivers and staff are equal to or in some cases even greater than on those in need of care.
