I remember being blessed by the words of a song called “Somebody’s praying for you”. by Don Moen. Today as I shared the hymn Trust and Obey I got to thinking of how not only some one is praying, but Jesus Christ Himself is making intercession for me at the throne of grace. Humility
We are going through a transition now from overworked indispensable in our church and with our friends to being the unknown older couple in the crowd. It feels like feather dusters are way more useful right now. But God has a plan for all of us and only He defines what is really useful!
Remember, “Those who exalt themselves will be humbled.”

Our Amazing God
No matter how often we drive through Fancy Gap and see the low country stretching below I am always amazed. Our mighty creator God doesn’t skimp on details. Sometimes we are in that mountaintop experience in life. That awesome moment is not just because of its height but also because from there we see the depths of the valley. How special to know that He has promised to walk with us down through the depths of the shadows. No matter how deep or how dark His hand will guide us all the way home!
