WaitsPast the Door
He the Good Shepherd we must learn to trust
Through the valley of shadows and fears
His is the word and a rod and a staff
That comforts in weakness and fears
Then to His banqueting table prepared
Where a cup full of blessing awaits
While my enemies watch His sure mercy pours out
Jesus comes and He never forsakes
Last we will travel to Father’s own home
Where a place that He purchased is ours
He commands us fear not, enter in by its gate
There forever life waits past the door
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

God Gave Him a Song
A rich and a poor man met Jesus one day
One ran to the Lord - one sat by the way
One asked for heaven while the other called out
“Lord I need mercy!” as he started to shout
But the rich man was shocked when he heard Jesus say
Both your heart and your wealth must be given away
So, he turned and went home in shock and dismay
Wondering why God asked all on that day
But the poor man jumped up and he started to come
Left his robe in the dust in his hurry to run
First, He knelt then he wept at the feet of the Lord
And He asked for His eyes to be fully restored
And Jesus delighted to give him his sight
Then He told him go home and praise God there tonight
But instead from that day he followed Jesus along
For He got more than sight - His God gave him a song!

Will you spend time alone with Jesus
Is His will what you’re looking for
Is there a place He can go to meet with you
To come in and then close the door?
Is your heart like a freshly turned garden
That is ready and prepared for seed
A place where His word can take root
And His plan is your deepest need?
Then listen you’ll hear HIs footsteps
It’s the Master now coming our way
And He’s asking to sit here with you
If you’re waiting for Him today-
