A Caregiver’s Story

I was so blessed by my fellow blogger, Hope’s post over on Patiently Hopeful that I had to share this with my readers. I really enjoyed her insight that being a caregiver is not only for those in long-term care. Being a mother (or father) is caregiving. Being a pastor, a teacher or a coach, we are each entrusted with the job of caring for someone. But there are also times in life when that caregiving role demands far more and presses us to our limits. That is when the lessons learned, as Hope tells us, will be most needed. Have a blessed day everyone!

  1. I will be blessed, undoubtedly, through this share. Thank you, Pastor Pete. I’ve been blessed by caregivers! It’s not an easy job (as I’m learning new roles for my parents as they age and face difficulties). God bless you and yours. ♥️🙏

  2. Dear Pastor Pete,

Thank you for reposting my blog. I know you understand very well the joys and sorrows, the enormous privilege as well as responsibility of caring for another. My prayer is we shall all value these dear people we give care to as Christ does. For He first cared for us. May the Lord bless and keep you.

    Hope
