God’s Garden Calendar

 In January’s cold and snow
 We sketched our garden dreams
 Then in February and in March bought seeds
 Of tomato, corn, and beans
  
 Our April was for planting
 And May and June for weeds
 Then in July fresh broccoli came
 August squash met all our needs
  
 Bell peppers still were filling bags
 Until September’s frosty ground
 Yet pumpkins kept on ripening
 When October came around
  
 So, we bowed our heads in thankfulness
 With November nearly done
 Remembering in December God
 Came to plant in hearts His Son
