Wonderful Merciful Savior

And yet again another shooting in our nation. I cannot bear to read the news and hear more angry arguments on rights, laws or political solutions. My heart is aching for our people. Only God who holds both the hearts of kings and the lowly in His Almighty hands can help. I have always loved this song by Selah. Of all the music they have given us this is by far their best and most enduring. May this song be  a comfort to you. May our hearts cry to our wonderful, merciful Savior. Without Him we have hopelessly lost our way.

Never Lose Hope

As caregivers we struggle daily to serve and honor the lives of the most fragile members of our society. The violence suffered tonight at the veterans home in California leaves me unspeakably sad. God have mercy is our prayer. Who will join with me in trusting Him to plant a seed of hope today?

Praying for God’s Comfort

We are broken hearted tonight and have been praying for the students and parents in Florida. This Valentine’s night it is time for our hearts to remember those who will not be here tomorrow. I miss the days when school violence meant getting hit with snow balls by the kids over on West 21st street! Jesus said that one life -any person’s life is worth more than the whole world. We have lost the treasure of 17 worlds tonight. May God bring comfort to the families and change to our nation.
