Accepted

How we have accepted one another?

Is it for their money or looks? Is it for what they can do for us or what they will think?

Jesus accepts us without makeup or achievements. Before we met Him ,He gave himself and then He waited for us to come.

He accepted us as sinners though not our sins. We don’t need to impress Him and can’t possibly fool Him. Our great hope is that His acceptance flows from the purest and most tender love. He gently receives us as we come to Him by faith. Now He in turn is asking that we reflect a faith that God is longing for them to know Him too!

Living Connection

Our real connection to Jesus Christ must always lead to our true connection to one another. Division points to a brokenness in some aspect of our relationship with God.

Division in our hearts or in our relationships is a signpost pointing to a break in our connection to our Heavenly Father. But He is always standing by with His door open for our return and ready to receive us into His presence. We must be prepared then to leave our own doors open for restored relationships to those around us. An open door means no demands or expectations but rather a reflection of the grace by which Jesus Himself has accepted us.
