Hugh Martin the composer of the original holiday favorite wrote these new lyrics after his conversion. I always loved this song and love especially this version presented by
Michael O’Brien. This is a sweet soft song and wonderful quiet way to spend time thinking tonight about our Savior’s birth. Blessings to all who take the few minutes to listen.
This was my first Christmas at Life Care Center since we just moved three months ago to Florida. What a blessing it has been to get involved right away in this community. Our small team went in and sang for two groups of residents today. Of course the Hipaa laws prohibit us from showing any of the people you can hear them singing. One of the highlights was a 104 year old resident who joined us in singing Silent Night! May this little abbreviated version of our visit be a blessing to you tonight. After all Christmas is all about God coming to visit those others have forgotten!
As usual the Annie Moses band exceeds our expectations for excellence with a stunningly beautiful and creative performance of this Christmas classic. I home some of my followers can take a few minutes to put a busy holiday week-end on hold and enjoy this. Blessings!
