One step without the Savior
Begins a path without His word
Two steps lead to eight
And soon His voice will not be heard
But if instead we start our day
With a slow and faithful stride
That walks to where He said to go
He will lead us to His side!

Seven Loaves
The 7 Loaves of the Bread of Life
He took the seven loaves and the fish and having given thanks He broke them and gave them to the disciples and the disciples gave them to the crowds. Matthew 15:36 ESV
The Monday loaf was when angels sang
And shepherds knelt and the Heavens rang
On Tuesday Mary dedicated her son
At the temple then trusted His will to be done
At the Jordan On Wednesday Jesus was baptized
And the dove descended onto the bread of life
Thursday’s loaf was when He broke the bread
And He blessed the cup and He bowed His head
On Friday His body was given for us
And His blood poured down that old rugged cross
Saturday’s silence was a bread of sorrows
As He lay in the tomb waiting for tomorrow
Then on Sunday’s rising came the Living Bread
For all who believe Jesus rose from the dead!
Till We Come to the Cross
Am I ready for Jesus no matter the cost?
Do I sit silent in shadows while people are lost?
Will He guide every step when my boat is tossed?
Can I lean on His arm till we come to the cross?
