What me Worry?

Worry is something just about everyone on the planet does; but why? “Don’t worry, be happy.” is pretty snappy but on the face of real life stuff its about as useful as a screen door in a submarine. Rather than spending time researching why not invest some time looking at what God has to say?

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:29-31 ESV

I have found that the best recipe for worry is to set aside focused time alone and just sing. To take a line from the not too theologically correct movie ELF – “The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear.” Today’s video draws comfort from singing some songs to bring you cheer. I hope they make somebody’s day a little brighter! Blessings

Oceans on a Frozen Lake

Hey normally I am rather loathe to spend time posting on the Lords day but I was pointed to this wonderful version of Oceans performed by Youngin Yo and wanted to share it with you. I pray that as you set aside some special time for Jesus today in prayer and worship that you quietly listen to this astonishing presentation that gives him glory on a grand piano in this frozen and beautiful setting.

Higher Ground

TheĀ LordĀ God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. Habakkuk 3:19

In an hour of confusion. In a time where brothers and sisters are being isolated from one another wand the world is trying to sow division in the body of Jesus Christ we must take the higher ground. It is a Holy place. It is not ours to take but ours to seek. Oh may God grant us strength to climb the heights whatever the price! This week’s Sunday praise comes from the beautiful heart and an equally beautiful voice of Loretta Adjetey (Lor). May you be blessed as you draw strength from Jesus to keep climbing those heights a little further every day!
