Here in the second session we look at beginning in nursing home ministry as in packing our bags for the mission field. Our mission field is different but many of the things we need to do are similar. Take my hands and let them move at the impulse of Thy love… Francis Havergal
Then He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around Him John 13:5
Frances Havergal had it right when she moved from the general consecration of her life to the specific of her hands. When we tell Jesus Christ that He can have all He first asks to be Lord of all that we do. The wonderful thing about following Jesus is that He never asks for us to do anything He hasn’t done Himself. Will we yield our hands to wash our brothers’ feet? Foot washing hands are ones that God loves seeing lifted in praise!
