With all the fire and fury pouring out from both sides about the election it might be time to remember that somebody is listening! What do we want to pass on to the next generation?
James 1:19 … Everyone should be quick to listen slow to speak & slow to become angry
Maybe today is a good time to have our hearts more open and our mouths more closed!
The leaves are filled with yesterday
As they face early frost
Their veins are running red to brown
Forgetting nights once soft
But as one page turns another starts
Their stories don’t end here
The last lines tell us please stay tuned
When snows close up the year
Springtime’s hope is sealed in soil
Where seeds wait for their time
Yesterday’s just what’s gone before
God’s amazing life’s design
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking James 1:5
God loves it when we ask for direction, because by our asking we are believing that only He knows the way!
