My Father’s World

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. Psalm 19:1-2

When we don’t understand why God remains silent the issue is not His ceasing to speak but rather our failure to hear.

This is my Father’s world
And o my listening ears
All Nature Sings and round me rings
The music of the spheres

Trees Walking

Mark 8:24 And he looked up and said, ” I see people but they look like trees walking.”

This man could begin to see once Jesus Christ prayed but he didn’t really know what he was looking at. We can’t know if what he lacked was focus, depth perception or if he was simply confused. We are all sometimes a bit like him. We are beginning to walk in some new opportunity, ministry or relationship but in spite of the excitement of the moment we still are stumbling over our own feet. We see people but not as God sees them. Tonight rather than being discouraged we need to go back to the Lord. Yes He has begun the blessings but He isn’t through yet. Take this moment to place again into His hands what He has begun and He himself will give us His own 20/20 heavenly vision!
