Two Lost Sons

Everyone loves the parable of the prodigal son. But the story that Jesus tells is actually about two boys. One was lost in a far off city and the other lost right at home. All of us are a lot like these two but no matter which son (or daughter) you are like remember that God loves us both.


This week’s songs include; Nothing But the Blood; Our Great Savior (Jesus what a Friend for Sinners) and Are You Washed in the Blood. Remember to pray for our brothers and sisters who live in long term care for whom I produce these videos. Consider that they cannot have not been able to have visitors for any reason since March 10th and there is no end in sight. The good news is that Jesus is a friend who cannot be quarantined or kept out! If you know anyone in nursing care or who is being quarantined at home who would like to hear these familiar songs please consider sharing the video links. Don’t Let Your Heart Be Troubled!

When it feels like our world is changing and spinning out of control it is normal to feel stress. If you didn’t feel something then someone needs to check if you’ve got a pulse! Jesus knew we would go through times like this and in fact Jesus Himself was facing pressure and the disciples were confused and wondering what the next day would hold. But even as Judas was on his way to betray him and He knew that Peter was soon to deny Him Jesus said; “Don’t let your hearts be troubled: You believe in God. Believe also in Me!” John 14:1 This week’s video is for everyone like me who could use more than a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down. We need the joy of the Lord to make it through!

It is hard to believe that we are almost 5 months since the nursing homes closed to visitors here. This short video series is all I can do for now to share the music that they love to hear.
