I confess I have been complaining too much lately. I posted this because I love how Joni and Ken who
might have plenty to complain about in normal times are being patient, thankful and encouraging others. Relying on God’s help today I’ll try to do better!

Friends
Some friends are like the city streets
They find us in the throng
Rushing to our emergencies
Not afraid when things go wrong
Others are suburban lanes
Who come to sit awhile
Patiently listening to our fears
Encouraging us with their smile
But a few God makes like country roads
Quiet – as a sunrise warms
Peeking up above our mountains
Silently shining through our storms
Giving or Getting?
For each one shall bear his own load.
Galatians 6:5 NKJV
Carrying my own load means finding the grace of Jesus in my hour of need. Carrying my brother and sisters burden means helping them with the grace that was given to me.
