Small Faith – Great God

Okay so it’s not a mulberry tree…but you get the idea! Small faith = big results when God is involved. Sometimes my biggest mulberry trees are yesterday’s sins. Isn’t it good that God has promised to cast them into the sea of His forgetfulness?  When I truly repent and ask for His mighty forgiveness I discover again that my God is so big and I am so small!  Have a blessed day in Christ!

Welcoming Children

If the Bible doesn’t fit

Your life style choice today

And those pesky 10 commandments

Are definitely passe

Then who made all your rules

That tell you what’s PC?

And what is really good or bad

And says what has to be?

But if God is still creator

And Jesus is His Son

And the cross still takes away our sins

And heaven’s still to come

Then we’ve got hope

God is still good

He can forgive

our sin

He gave His life that we might live

And welcomes children in!

Praying for God’s Comfort

We are broken hearted tonight and have been praying for the students and parents in Florida. This Valentine’s night it is time for our hearts to remember those who will not be here tomorrow. I miss the days when school violence meant getting hit with snow balls by the kids over on West 21st street! Jesus said that one life -any person’s life is worth more than the whole world. We have lost the treasure of 17 worlds tonight. May God bring comfort to the families and change to our nation.

For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Matthew 16:26 NKJV
