Before we had faces
And we had no voice at all
Then no one else could see us
When we were small – small – small
God took the plans He’d made
And put them out to see
To show to all the pattern
He would use for you and me
Then stamped His image on our hearts
And signed the bottom line
So we would be delivered
Just exactly in His time!
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

Excellent, Pastor Pete.
This one sounds familiar. Is it part of your children’s book, “All Creatures, Mostly Small?” It’s a great book for big people too!
No, I don’t think this one was included. Maybe I should have. This was one stanza longer when I wrote it back in 2022, but I had wanted to trim and edit it in time for the pro-life day later this month. I may try recording a reading along with a slide show. So glad you enjoyed it.
Wonderful ♥️
Thanks Caleb. Have a blessed weekend.
What a lovely thought!
Thanks…it is a comfort to me.
Oh, Pete! This touched my heart!!!
Thank you Karla. This one was special to me.
It’s my blessing—I understand!!
I especially love that last stanza!
Thank you Beth. No matter how convenient or wanted we are, God chose the perfect time for each of us. No one came hete one second late, or one minute too soon.
I love it! Blessings, Pastor Pete!
