We are always praying for new volunteers to help out at the nursing home ministry. Honey came walking through right in the middle of our service this morning but nobody minded. In fact I ran down from the stage just to get a chance to visit with her and her friend Autumn.

Yes it was quite a scene. We were in the middle of our hymns when Honey came walking out of one of the wards to leave and everyone started oooohing and pointing. So I stopped everything, put my guitar aside and went down to meet the star of the show with her ruby slippers!
I wish I’d been there to see it. 🙂

And what a gentle and patient pony. She stood quietly without complaint and let people stroke her fur and s ratch her ears. Such a special blessing!

You know I barely noticed the shoes but you are the second lady commenting on them. Yes they are definitely spectacular and Honey was such a gentle and humble soul.
