In the desperate or dark places of life hope is like the window through which we can see tomorrow. When we allow our circumstances or feelings to pull down the blinds life can become very dark. But if we rejoice even in tribulation the window will open and the breath of God will refresh and heal our hearts!
The poem on which this song was based was one of our very favorite to read to our boys when they were small. I hope this brightens someone’s day!
and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us Romans 5:5
