I mentioned how I remembered always Pat Boone singing this (On TV I think) but I haven’t heard it for over 40 years. Here is a good remastered version though I wish they did something with a slide show for that (Maybe I will try that for a Christmas project next year) He sings so effortlessly and his notes flow as smoothly as butter. I always wished I could sound like that but we each have our own gifts. Blessings and Merry Christmas!

12 Gift of Christmas
12th Gift – The Love of God
We often think of the baby in the manger of Bethlehem as God’s ultimate gift. But in reality it was on the cross, the altar on which Jesus gave himself on our behalf that God’s gift was given. God’s gift of love is eternal life. That gift is the life of Christ which can become ours at Calvary! At this very end of our 40 day you can begin a new life’s journey that will last forever. Today on Christmas is the perfect time to give your life to Him. He has given so many gifts and we can trust Him to lead us through all the rest of our life’s travels.
Why don’t we take some of you time right now and think back and be thankful for these 12
Christmas gifts. Giving is both a great blessing and an expression of our love for all God has given us in Christ!

The gift of being a neighbor
The gift of Kindness
The gift of Prayer
The gift of Faith
The gift of Hope
The gift of Joy
The gift of Grace
The gift of Rest
The gift of Living Water
The gift of Mercy
The gift of a Guiding Star
The gift of the Love of God
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” Luke 2:13-14
