Three challenges to your Dream

Three Challenges Part One – Betrayal

Then they said to one another, “Look, this dreamer is coming! Genesis 37:19

God sent Joseph  amazing dreams but when he tried to share them, he spent the next 20 years facing three  confrontations that challenged his faith. Have KIMG0333you ever felt that the dream you once saw so clearly was slowly slipping away? God has not forgotten. You and I will face the same three battles that Joseph did. His first confrontation was betrayal. His brothers saw him coming, they remembered his dream, but they were willing to do anything it took to  get rid of Joseph, and his dreams and to steal his inheritance.

If you have been through betrayal you will know how deeply the wounds reach into your heart and mind. When brothers, have sold us out, their motivations may seem financial but beneath the surface there is always something more. The few coins that his brothers received were nothing in comparison with their unburdening themselves of their jealousy of Joseph. Yet in spite of their betrayal, Joseph responded differently than most of us. Joseph didn’t dwell on his past hurts or with how to get even. Joseph believed that he could trust himself into the hands of the same God who had sent him his dream. He had no idea just how that dream would come to pass but he lived his life knowing God was in control

Remember the dream God has given you!  Don’t dwell on past betrayal, because God can use the same stones that others have thrown as building blocks to build the place where your dream will live!

But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Genesis 50:20 NKJV
