Your Life is a Letter!

The only letter of recommendation we need is you yourselves. Your lives are a letter written in our hearts; everyone can read it and recognize our good work among you.           2 Corinthians 3:2

Did you ever stop to think that your life is a blog with a new page written daily by someone. If our hearts are open to God’s word then we are giving the Holy Spirit editorial permission to correct a few lines. His revisions sometimes seem painful and a few of His twists and turns of the plot difficult to understand, but He knows precisely how our story needs to flow.

He writes from the opening paragraph to the denouement a love letter for our souls. God sent His own Son to die for our rescue and He knows how from our sunrise to the end of our day how things will work together for our good. When we trust the scenes of our lives into the hand of the master director nothing short of a masterpiece will result as our names are written into the book of life!

My wife and I serve as members of a worship team at a multicultural church. Our members are from Brazil, Nepal and the U.S.. Because of the many languages and cultures in our local body we face unique challenges, such as how many songs will we do in English today? What new songs can we use in either language that are simple enough for the people to sing. The songs, the devotions and insights here are a small portion of some of the ways God is leading us as we push towards the goal. I pray that these will be both a blessing and an encouragement for those of you who may pass by Praise 2 Worship.
