Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance.
Psalms 42:5 NKJV
I once lived briefly in downtown Los Angeles and in that area the smog was a daily phenomena. On a clear sunny day the farthest you could aee down the street was eight blocks where the mist of smog began to obscure the view. Only after a rare hard rain was it possible to see the beauty of the skyline of the city. In the same way there are many things that battle against our ability to see the beautiful plan that God has mapped out for our future. But God’s love ia like the slow blooming of a rose.
As new conflicts and discourage
ments come so also God allows to unfold new hope and trust in him. The love of our Father reaches far beyond the clouds of hurt and misunderstanding all the way to the throne of grace!
